Jhalawar News: A case of rape of a Dalit woman by taking her hostage has come to light in Manohar police station area of Jhalawar district of Rajasthan

Jhalawar. Another Dalit woman became a victim of rape in Rajasthan. The incident has come to light in Manoharthana area of Jhalawar district of Rajasthan, adjacent to Madhya Pradesh. After the incident, the victim somehow escaped from the clutches of the accused and reached the police. But the police also hesitated in registering the case and kept him in custody for three and a half hours. Later, when the media came to know about the incident, the police registered the case late on Friday night. Police have registered a case of rape and Dalit harassment on the report of the victim.
According to the police, the incident took place in Khati Ka Pura village of Manoharthana area. A Dalit woman was staying there at her relative’s house. During that time, a bully from the village beat the victim and took him away. The bully kept the woman hostage in his house overnight and raped her. Then he locked her in a room and went away from there.
The police made her sit for three and a half hours and
from there the victim somehow freed herself and ran away. He informed the family members and villagers about the matter. After that everyone reached the police station and lodged a complaint against the accused. The victim and the villagers allege that the police delayed in registering the case and kept them at the police station for about three and a half hours. Seeing the attitude of the police, the villagers conveyed this to the media. When the media persons asked the police for information about the incident, the police registered a case against the accused.
There is also an allegation of assault by entering the house.
The victim has filed a case of rape in this regard against Bhanwarlal Tanwar, a resident of Khati Ka Pura village. He alleges that the accused entered his house and assaulted him and his female relative on Thursday night. Later, he showed his weapon and forcibly took him away. There he held her hostage in his house and raped her. After this, the accused locked the house on Friday morning and went to graze the buffalo. When the accused returned in the afternoon, she took the opportunity and ran away from there.
