He was sent by Sarvesh, a labor contractor, to work at the guest house CGS Vatika on Pushta Road as a waiter to the guest house owner Manoj Gupta. It was a challenge for the police to uncover Pankaj’s murder. The police team interrogated the guest house owner and looked at the mobile phones of other people and video footage of the function that day. After this, Rishabh started abusing Pankaj and started beating him. Seeing this Manoj Gupta also reached there. Seeing both of them being beaten, Pankaj protested, then both of them together beat him badly. Due to this he died. Seeing this, both of them got scared and called Amit and Ajay who worked there and asked them to dispose of the dead body. Ajay and Amit had fled away after throwing Pankaj’s body in the bushes near Garhi Kataiya. ACP said that the police are still making efforts to arrest Rishabh. Soon he will also be arrested.
Dalit Sarpanch tied to a tree and beaten
A case of beating of a sarpanch of Dalit community by tying him to a tree has come to light in Jalandhar, Punjab.
