A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. Here a person was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon. The person who has been murdered is a Dalit. His son has a love marriage with a girl from the same village. The girl belonged to another caste. On this matter, the village bullies killed the youth’s father by cutting him with a sharp weapon and also injured his grandmother, whose condition is critical. The police have registered the case and started investigation.
The incident took place in Ramdaypur village of Munshiganj Kotwali. Sunil, a Dalit youth living here, fell in love with a girl from another caste of the same village. Going against their family members, both of them got married in March this year. But, after this the boy’s family started receiving threats. The son of the deceased alleges that these threats were given by the girl’s family. Meanwhile, on Sunday night, when the youth’s father Ramsjeevan and grandmother Dhanraji were sleeping, they were attacked with a sharp weapon. After this the boy’s father died and the grandmother was referred to the Trauma Center, where she is undergoing treatment.
Allegation of the son of the deceased
Sunil, the son of the deceased, alleges that the village girl whom we married does not belong to our caste. The girl was being continuously harassed by her family regarding this. The girl’s family has killed our father.
Police told
According to Amethi Superintendent of Police Ilamaran, a police team was sent to the spot. A case has been registered on the complaint of the family members. Strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. Many police teams are busy searching for the accused.
