Rajasthan: Dalit woman molested after entering her house, caste harassment is not stopping!

Jaipur. The incidents of Dalit atrocities are not stopping in Rajasthan. Rajasthan has been at the top especially in the cases of molestation, rape and assault of Dalit women. Even after the change of government in the past, such incidents have not been curbed. The latest case has come to light from a village in Raithala police station area of ​​Bundi district of Rajasthan.

Here, after entering the thatched house, a man first raped a lone Dalit woman. On protesting, the powerful family members of the accused together carried out a deadly attack on the Dalit family. Seven people suffered serious injuries in the attack with sticks, rods and sharp weapons. Who are undergoing treatment in the district hospital of Bundi.

Here, after the incident, based on the statement of the victim woman, the police named more than half a dozen people and filed an FIR under Indian Penal Code 323, 341, 307, 354, 452, 147, 148, 149 and Scheduled Caste/Tribe Act. Four people have been registered and detained. Raithala police station in-charge Babulal Meena said that the investigation has been handed over to senior officer Keshavrai Patan.

According to the police, the husband of the victim woman, who is undergoing treatment in Bundi District Hospital, told in the statement that he had gone to the village market last Sunday. The wife was alone at home. When he reached home from the market, accused Jugraj Gurjar entered the house and tried to forcefully commit wrongdoing by beating the applicant’s wife (holding her with both his hands). After saving the wife from the accused, she took her out of the house and locked Jugraj inside the house.

During this time, the applicant informed the family members about the incident and called them to the spot. On this the applicant’s father, uncle, aunt and other relatives also came to the spot. After some time, Bhimraj, Devi Lal, Devprakash, Chandraprakash, Khushiram and a boy of Bhimraj also came from the accused side. The accused had sticks, rods, axes and machetes in their hands. As soon as the said accused arrived, they attacked the applicant and his family members with sharp weapons and started beating them with sticks and rods. While beating him, the accused also insulted him with caste related words.

In the attack, the applicant suffered serious injuries on his ears, head, legs and body at various places. Apart from this, the applicant’s victim’s wife, father, uncle, aunt and others also suffered serious injuries. The applicant told the police in his statement that during the attack he informed the police over phone. During this time the police also reached the spot. After some time the ambulance also reached the spot. 108 ambulance took all the injured to nearby Khatkhar hospital. Where when the situation became critical, everyone was referred to Bundi District Hospital.

After the incident, The Mooknayak spoke to Raithala police station officer Babulal Meena. Meena said that four attackers have been detained. Inquiring. Those injured in the attack are undergoing treatment at Bundi District Hospital.
