Bhopal. In Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh, three students of MITS College beat up a Dalit student of the same college badly just because he belonged to a lower caste. Other students of the college intervened to prevent this beating at the college gate. After this, the victim student reached the police station and the Gola Ka Mandir police station registered an FIR against the students who assaulted them.

This entire incident happened on January 9, when at around 1:30 in the afternoon, Jitendra Parashar (Jatav), a student of MITS College, reached the college gate with his friend Ravi. Deepak Chechi, Raghav Tomar and Bhishma Pratap Tomar were already standing here. As soon as they saw Jitendra, all three said to Jitendra that you belong to a small caste, why do you compare with us, we belong to a big caste. Hearing this, when Jitendra lodged a protest, Deepak, Raghav and Bhishma together started abusing him by insulting him on caste basis and after some time all three together started beating Jitendra.

Fighting started with Jitendra with kicks, punches and sticks. Jitendra was being beaten at the college gate and Jitendra was shouting loudly. Hearing Jitendra’s screaming, other college students reached the spot and somehow saved Jitendra. After this, Jitendra along with his friends Shivam and Raj reached Gola Ka Mandir police station and lodged their complaint. On receiving the complaint, Gola Ka Mandir police station has registered an FIR against Deepak, Raghav and Bhishma Pratap under section 294 323 34 and SC ST Act.

MITS is a prestigious college of the city

MITS College is a prestigious engineering college of the city. This college is run by Scindia Trust. In such a situation, the college management has taken the matter of beating of a student on the basis of casteism in a prestigious college seriously and the action of dismissing the accused students from the college is being considered.

Girl kidnapped from home at gunpoint

A sensational case of kidnapping of a girl at gunpoint has come to light in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. The victim’s parents say that by the time they came out after hearing their daughter screaming, the accused had fled from the spot. On the complaint of the victim’s family, the police have registered a case and started investigation.

This incident took place in Sirathu town of Saini Kotwali area. The girl’s father told the police in his complaint that he and his son work in private jobs in Lucknow. Two daughters live at home with his wife. The elder daughter was sitting outside the house when four people came in a car and forced her into the car with the help of an illegal gun and fled away.
