Lucknow. In Amroha district of UP, incidents of molestation of class 10 Dalit students were happening continuously. In this matter the family members had gone to the police station and complained, but no hearing was held. Ultimately, the student got upset and committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train on Tuesday.

According to the information, a 19-year-old Dalit student lived in Mandi Dhanaura police station area of Amroha district in UP. She was studying in class 10 at a Kasturba residential school in the district. According to the information, the labourer’s daughter had come home from the school hostel only five days ago. At around 7 pm on Tuesday evening, the student reached the railway line passing through the outskirts of her village. At the same time, Garhwal Express going from Kotdwar to Delhi was passing through there. The student jumped in front of the train. By the time the nearby villagers reached the track, he was dead. When discussion spread in the village, the student’s father also reached the spot. Identified the body. On receiving the information, the police came and took information about the incident from the family members.

The mother of the deceased alleges that a young man from the village used to molest her daughter at home. Complaint was lodged in the police station. When the hearing was not held, the problem was also reported to the CO, but still the police did not take action against the accused. While filling the Panchnama of the dead body of the student, the family members got angry at the police. The mother of the deceased said, “Had the police taken action on our complaint, the daughter would not have been forced to commit suicide.” Started demanding to file a report against the accused before signing the Panchnama. After a lot of convincing, the police completed the Panchnama process.

In this case, Additional Superintendent of Police of Amroha district Rajiv Kumar Singh told The Mooknayak that it has been found that the student committed suicide by jumping from the train. There is no information available about suicide due to molestation. Post mortem is being conducted. Further action will be taken on the basis of the complaint.

Karni Sena Vice President’s daughter kidnapped, murdered over protest

According to the information received by The Mooknayak, some people entered the house of Sudhir, Vice President of Karni, resident of village Sadullaganj in Dataganj area of Badaun district of UP, last Monday night. They also had weapons. He was carrying Sudhir Singh’s daughter. When the daughter screamed, her mother and father ran to save her. During this the kidnappers shot Sudhir Singh. Hearing the sound of the bullet, his brother and other people living in the neighborhood also came. Due to which the attackers ran away from there. Relatives took Sudhir in injured condition to the district hospital, where he died during treatment. Police is busy searching for the accused.

This is not the first incident. In a village in Ghazipur police station area of Fatehpur district of UP, a girl committed suicide after being hurt by teasing. The brother of the deceased had told that when both he and his sister were alone in the house. Then some people from the same village came and started beating his sister. Seeing them, they ran and told their parents, when the family came, their sister’s body was found hanging inside the house. The mother of the deceased said that Lalli, a resident of the village, often harassed her daughter. Whose complaint was given in the police station earlier also demanding action, but no action was taken. The family members of the deceased had accused the three accused of breaking into the house and assaulting them and molesting them. Whereas the police was busy calling it a case of love affair.
