Rape of a Dalit girl on the pretext of marriage in Rajasthan, along with threat of death and heinous allegation of abortion

In Rajasthan, a case of rape of a Dalit girl on the pretext of marriage and forced abortion has come to light. In this case, the victim has filed a rape case against the accused in the police station.
Rape on the pretext of marriage:
In fact, in Ratangarh tehsil of Churu in Rajasthan, a 24 year old Dalit girl was raped on the pretext of marriage and the incident of forced abortion has once again put Rajasthan to shame. In connection with this incident, a girl from the village of Ratangarh tehsil has registered a case of rape against the accused in the police station.
DSP’s statement:
According to information, DSP Satpal Singh, who is investigating the case, said in his statement that in the report, the girl had given a statement that the family of Sanjay Kumar, a 25-year-old youth from the Jat community of the village, was friends with the victim’s family. The young man had given the girl the promise of marriage and about a year ago, the accused had called the victim to a hotel in Fatehpur and raped her. Apart from this, the accused raped the victim again after finding her alone at home one day.
Caste based abuses were used:
After the incident, the girl became pregnant, which was revealed after 3 months and when the victim told this to the young man, the young man assured her to marry him. But the young man’s marriage was fixed at another place by his family members and after this he started pressurizing the victim to get an abortion. The girl was hurled caste based abuses and threatened to kill her.
Case registered under SC ST Act:
According to the report of Dainik Bhaskar, in order to abort the pregnancy, the accused’s mother and others together gave drugs to the victim and took her to Fatehpur, Churu and then Sikar and got her aborted. 1 The accused married her by paying Rs 15 lakh to get the abortion done. Refused to do. The police have registered a case under various sections including the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Act and got the victim medically examined.
