Madhya Pradesh: Bajrang Dal official brutally beats tribal youth, know the whole matter of viral video

Police registered a case against accused Chanchal Rajput, co-convenor of Bajrang Dal of Narmadapuram division and three other people under sections including Atrocity.

Bhopal. Incidents with tribals have been continuously coming to light in Madhya Pradesh. Dozens of serious cases including the direct urination case and the Nemavar murder case have come to light in the last years. Recently, a video of beating of a tribal youth has surfaced in Betul district of the state. In which a tribal youth is being beaten brutally. In this video of 2 minutes 42 seconds, it is seen that a man is brutally beating a young man, after beating him he was also asked to become a cock. Here, Congress has demanded immediate investigation and action in this matter.

According to the information, this incident took place on Saturday night, and this video surfaced on Sunday. After the video went viral, a case has been registered against one named and three other people under Atrocity Act and other sections at Betul Kotwali police station.

In the viral video of beating a tribal youth, the accused sometimes punches and sometimes kicks the tribal youth on his face. Abuses him. The victim pleads, pleads and falls at the beater’s feet, but he does not listen and continues to beat him. 

Then someone’s voice comes from behind. He asks the young man to become a rooster. The young man becomes a cock. Even after becoming a cock, the accused hits him on the back with the elbow of his hand. Then his partner stops him from killing him. But he does not agree.

The name of the accused who brutally beat the youth in the video is said to be Chanchal Rajput. Who is the co-coordinator of Narmadapuram division of Bajrang Dal. The victim youth Raj Uike works for a DJ. The DJ owner had an old dispute with the accused Chanchal Rajput. He was beaten up because of this. Till the time of writing the news, no accused has been arrested.

Speaking to The Mooknayak, Superintendent of Police Siddharth Chaudhary said that after the video surfaced, the police traced the victim. He told that he works for a DJ. The DJ owner had an old dispute with the accused Chanchal Rajput. He was beaten up because of this. The victim told the name of the accused Chanchal to the police. He does not recognize the remaining three accused. Police have registered a case of atrocity and assault against one named and three unidentified accused. 

Congress cornered the government

Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has targeted BJP and the government in this matter. Kamal Nath wrote on his social media X account, “MP is already number one in the country in tribal atrocities. Such incidents show that the mentality of the BJP government is anti-tribal.” Kamal Nath has demanded strict action from the Chief Minister in this matter.

State Congress President Jitu Patwari shared this video of assault on a tribal youth on social media. He has demanded immediate investigation and action in this matter. Patwari wrote on his So we left! But now see with your own eyes the truth of BJP’s respect for tribals! Do not commit so much atrocities that you lose faith in justice! Get an immediate investigation done, take action!”

NCRB: MP on top in cases of atrocities on tribals

According to NCRB data, in the year 2022, 2979 cases were reported against tribals, which is 13 percent more than last year’s crime. For the last three years, the state has remained on top in tribal atrocities. Rajasthan is second with 2,521 cases and Maharashtra is third with 742 cases.
