Alwar Crime News: In Khairthal town on Saturday, girl students of Dalit community returning home after exams were molested by some youths riding bikes on the way to school. When the students of the same school protested against the actions of the unruly youth, they also thrashed them with belts.
People nearby started gathering. So the accused youth ran away riding on a numberless bike. The entire incident was recorded in the CCTV camera of a brick kiln on the spot. The police have identified the youth and said they will take action. A report of the matter has been lodged by the school management.
The victimized Dalit girl students told that the 10th board examination was on Saturday. His examination center is about 3 kilometers away from the school. After the examination, 7 male students and 5 female students were returning home on foot after giving the social science paper.
Meanwhile, two youths started following him on a sports bike without number. The youth made indecent comments and molested the girl students. Which the students accompanying him protested. On this, both the youth started abusing the students also. When they protested, he also attacked the students with belts.
Seeing the commotion, nearby people started gathering at the spot. Seeing them the youth ran away on the bike. People informed the police about the matter. Checked the CCTV cameras installed at the brick kiln near the incident site. In which youths are seen molesting and assaulting.
Khairthal police station officer Dinesh Kumar said that the accused have been identified. Their houses were raided, but they escaped before that. A case has been registered. Soon the accused will be brought and interrogated.
