Madhya Pradesh: Dalit youth beaten badly for saying Jai Bhim, threatened to kill

Thousands of rallies are being taken out across the country with slogans of Jai Shri Ram. But why do people get irritated by a slogan which makes the Dalit community feel proud?
Casteism In Madhya Pradesh: In Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh , the casteists got so angry after saying “ Jai Bhim Jai Buddhay” that they brutally beat up a Dalit youth. The material case pertains to village Sakhi of Beohari police station area of Shahdol district. Where a case of assault has come to light with a Dalit youth who had gone to play drums at a wedding. At present, the police have registered an FIR on the complaint of the victim.
Jai Bhim got angry after saying :
According to media reports, the band had come to play at the wedding of the son of Ramsukul Rathore, a resident of village Sakhi in Beohari police station area of Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. The victim Dalit youth Chandrashekhar Saket had gone to village Sakhi along with his friends Rajesh Saket , Bablu Saket , Neeraj Saket , Raju Saket. During this time the Dalit youth called his friend Pushpendra Saket. As soon as he picked up the phone, Chandrashekhar said Jai Bhim Bhai , Namo Buddha. Hearing this, the casteist people standing nearby got angry. And started beating the Dalit youth by abusing him.
Threatened to kill :
According to the information, on hearing ‘Jai Bhim’ , ‘Jai Buddha’ from the mouth of the Dalit, Dabbu Gautam and Shivanshu Gautam standing nearby came and said, what are you saying ? Both of them abused and started beating. Hearing the noise, Rajesh and Raju came to intervene. But both the accused allegedly threatened Chandrashekhar with death and left from there. According to the complaint, the Dalit youth suffered injuries on his face , chest , neck and forehead in the assault. After this incident which happened on Tuesday, the victim lodged a police report. On the basis of which the police have registered a case against both the accused under sections 294, 323, 506, 34 and started investigation.
