Rajasthan: A deaf and mute tribal minor was burnt alive, why are questions being raised on the police?

Jaipur. A minor deaf and dumb girl who was burnt alive in Karauli district of Rajasthan has died during treatment. According to the police, the deceased gave her statement in the presence of a deaf and dumb expert in the hospital. In the statement, the minor had alleged that she was burnt by pouring petrol on her. According to the police, after showing more than a dozen pictures on the phone, the minor identified the person who did this, who lives in her neighborhood. Meanwhile, after the incident, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie has targeted Bhajanlal Sarkar. He has posted a video on his social media handle. In which Leader of Opposition Julie has attacked Bhajanlal Sarkar.

Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie posted that ‘Law and order has collapsed in Rajasthan under the BJP government. Dalits are being beaten to death in public. The kind of cruelty with minor girls is coming to light every day. Situations like jungle raj have arisen in Rajasthan.’

He further said that ‘This slip government of BJP which boasted of being a double engine government has completely failed. Bhajan Lal ji has remained only a touring Chief Minister.’

The incident happened on May 9

New Mandi police station in-charge Ram Avtar Yadav told The Muknayak , “On May 9, the deaf and mute minor was found by the family in a burnt condition in a field about a hundred meters away from the house. The FSL team has collected evidence from the spot and the body has been postmortemed by the medical board. The accused has been taken into custody and is being questioned.” Meanwhile, the father has accused the police of forcing him to perform the last rites. He has also written a letter to the Karauli District Superintendent of Police.

According to the allegations of the family and the information received, a mute and deaf tribal minor girl of Nai Mandi police station area of ​​Hindaun City was burnt alive after being raped by the brutes. The victim, who was in a critical condition, struggled for life and death for 10 days. She succumbed to her injuries during treatment in Jaipur on Monday. The family has expressed their anger over the lack of proper action by the police in the case. On Tuesday, the family has submitted a memorandum to the subdivision officer and the Superintendent of Police in Todabhim demanding the arrest of the accused.

The family members told that he lives with his children in a rented house in Nai Mandi police station area and works in a milk-dairy business. On 11th May at around 10-11 am, his 10-year-old deaf and mute girl was found burnt on the road near her house. She was admitted to the district hospital of Hindaun. From where she was referred to Jaipur in critical condition. She died on Monday during treatment in Jaipur. In this incident, an FIR was lodged by the father in Nai Mandi police station alleging burning by unknown people.

In the memorandum submitted to Todabhim SDM Sunita Meena and Deputy Superintendent of Police Murarilal Meena, the family members have expressed the possibility of rape. He said that during the treatment in Jaipur, the deaf and dumb girl was questioned by an expert and despite collecting facts by showing photographs of many people, the police have not arrested the accused. After submitting the memorandum, the family members cremated the body of the girl on Tuesday.

Here, a campaign is also being run on social media to give justice to the victim. Videos of the victim being admitted to the hospital are going viral on social media. Users asked that in Hindaun City, a deaf and dumb tribal minor girl was raped and her body was burnt by the barbarians, who died in the hospital after 11 days. Why is the government and the police administration silent on this incident?
