UP News: A horrific incident that took place on the night of October 30 in Feusi village of Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh has shaken the life of a Dalit family. Dilip Kumar, who lives with his family in the village, had never imagined such a big tragedy in his life. His father Ramlaut, who was going to sleep at his second house after having dinner, became a victim of the cruelty of some influential people on the way.
The silence of the night and the attack: The story of horror began
At around 11:00 pm, when Ramlaut was walking on the road, some goons named Pawan Mishra and Prince Pandey ran their car over his nephew Parvinder. This incident was part of a deliberate and heinous conspiracy. When Ramlaut protested against this act, the goons started abusing him using casteist slurs. It didn’t stop there. These people, filled with anger and hatred, threw Ramlaut down and started beating him mercilessly. Ramlaut was injured by kicks, punches and blows of sticks.
Attempt to crush with car: Humanity shamed
Not only this, the bullies dragged Ramlaut on the road and ran a four-wheeler over his leg, due to which his leg broke in two places. When the family members called 112 and called an ambulance and took Ramlaut to the hospital, his life was saved.
The terror of the next day: Home attacks and violence against women
On October 31, when the family filed a police complaint, the goons along with their goons barged into their house. They entered the house and started beating the women and children with sticks, using abusive casteist language. In this brutal attack, Dilip’s sister-in-law Urmila’s head was injured and his daughter Pooja fell unconscious. His wife Sarita and brother’s daughter Ankita were also badly beaten up. Amidst this violence, an atmosphere of terror and fear prevailed in the entire family.
Police interference and threats: questions about security
On the complaint of the victim’s family, the police have registered a case against both the accused. However, the goons openly threatened the family that if they contacted the police, their entire family would be burnt alive. This threat has raised serious questions about safety in the minds of the family.
Appeal for justice: Hope for help from the administration
Dilip Kumar and his family are now pleading for justice from the administration. This inhuman incident has exposed the atrocities against Dalits in the village and the inaction of the police. The pain of Ramlaut and his family is a warning to all those who are still victims of caste discrimination and atrocities.
