According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Prince (son Rakesh, resident of Campierganj) and Abhishek (son Indresh, resident of Dhaska). Both the children are said to be the nephew and niece of a sanitation worker. The family members of the deceased children are inconsolable.

Police say that first both were tied to an electric pole and beaten. After this, they were murdered. The incident is from Bhaksa village of Sahajanwa area. The bodies of both were found on Friday afternoon. The distance between the bodies was 50 meters.

As soon as the information was received, a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The villagers are angry about the incident. The villagers did not allow the police to take the bodies of the children for postmortem for an hour. The police officers explained to them for a long time. Only then did they calm down. After that the police could take the bodies for postmortem.

In both the bodies, the hands of one and the hands and legs of the other were tied. The killer had stuffed a cloth in the mouths of the children so that they did not make any sound at the time of the incident. Sahajanwa police is investigating the incident spot. SSP Dr. Gaurav Grover also reached the spot. He took information about the incident.

Rakesh, a resident of Navapar of Chiluatal area, has his in-laws in Bhaksa village of Sahajanwa area. His 12-year-old son Prince had come to his maternal uncle Indresh’s house. On Thursday evening around 5 pm, Prince and his maternal uncle’s son Abhishek (14) went out for a walk in the village. But, even after a long time, both of them did not return home.

When it was late night, the family members started looking for both the children. But still both were not found. The family members were searching in the village and relatives. Meanwhile, on Friday afternoon, the nude bodies of both were found in a field at some distance from the village. Abhishek was a student of class 6 and Prince was a student of class 5.

Expressing grief over the incident, National President of Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) and MP Chandrashekhar Azad wrote on social media that, “In a heartbreaking incident in Sahjanwan police station area of ??Gorakhpur, naked bodies of two Dalit teenagers have been found, whose throats were slit. The bodies were tied together and a cloth was stuffed in their mouths. This gruesome incident is shocking to the society and also highlights the serious failure of law and order. My condolences are with the family members, may nature give them the strength to bear this immense sorrow. Gorakhpur Police should conduct a fair and quick investigation of this incident and arrest the culprits as soon as possible and give them the harshest punishment.”
