Case filed against man on charge of raping teenage daughter in Netrokona

A case was filed against a man on the charge of raping his 15-year-old daughter in Durgapur upazila of Netrokona.

The victim’s mother filed the case with Durgapur Police Station late last night, said Mahmudul Hasan, officer-in-charge of Durgapur Police Station.

The accused man, 55, is a resident of Durgapur Sadar union. He went to hiding after the matter was made public.

OC Mahmudul said, “The girl has been sent for a medical examination. We are making every effort to arrest the accused.”
