Pilibhit News: Rape with 13 and 15 year old sisters, police did not register FIR, said – ‘circumstantial evidence shows allegations are false’

Uttar Pradesh, three months ago two real sisters accused of rape in Pilibhit. The 13 and 15-year-old Dalit sisters accused the 65-year-old owner of the rape on whom she worked. After three months, the police have still not registered a case. The police refused to register an FIR, stating that circumstantial evidence pointed to the allegations as false.
Two Dalit minor sisters allege that their boss raped her several times. CO Pramod Kumar told TOI, “When rape is alleged, we have to look at the conditions on the ground.” At the same time, the family alleges that the two girls first approached the police on September 23, but no complaint was made and no case was registered.
Complaint with SP on Tehsil Day
On 5 January, the family met the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Pilibhit on Tehsil Day. During this time the family complained of not registering FIRs with the minors. On the complaint, the SP took immediate action and ordered the CO to investigate the matter.

complaint, the girls had said that they, along with their parents, do the under-wages of the contractor. She was working on the contractor’s fields. He also gave his family a place to live on his form. The girls alleged that the contractor threatened to kill their parents and raped their elder sister. Advocate Babita Saxena, a social activist from Pilibhit said, ‘The Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 2013 gives a rape victim all the rights of a police FIR with the assurance of complete protection against her. According to the amended law, even if a long time has passed since the rape or molestation incident, the police cannot refuse to register an FIR. ‘
The policeman can only be punished
Saxena said that she would ask the National Commission for Women to intervene immediately. He said that a police officer who refused to register an FIR in a rape case could be sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for a minimum period of six months, besides fine under Section 166A (C) of the IPC for two years. ‘Now medical investigation cannot confirm rape’
Dr. Anita Chaurasia, Chief Medical Superintendent of the District Women’s Hospital, Pilibhit, said that it would be almost impossible for medical authorities to locate any evidence of rape if the victims had a medical examination to confirm the rape.
