Desired accused of Dalit oppression arrested

The police have arrested the wanted accused in the case of Dalit oppression and assault. After being challaned, he was produced in the court from where he has been sent to jail. Three days ago, a case was filed by Trilok Singh, a resident of Valmiki Basti Landaura.

In which he named three accused and accused him of assaulting his brother and another and using caste words to humiliate them. Police had registered a case against the three named accused in this regard. On Friday, police received information that the accused were present in the area. After which the police laid siege and arrested the accused. The accused’s name has been described as Sahib resident Landaura. Inspector Mangalore Yashpal Singh Bisht said that the matter is being investigated by Police Officer Mangalore.
