250 Dalits left Hinduism in Rajasthan: Idols immersed in the river, angry with the fight after Durga Aarti

In Baran district of Rajasthan, 250 Dalit people, hurt by the beatings of the people of the upper caste community, left Hinduism and converted to Buddhism. These people immersed the idols and pictures of gods and goddesses from their homes in the Bethli river.
These families also expressed their anger against the state government and alleged that two youths of the Dalit community were assaulted by the upper castes for performing aarti of Goddess Durga 15 days ago. The society pleaded for justice from the President to the district administration, but no action was taken against the accused of assault. This whole matter is of Bhulon village of Chhabra area.
Balmukand Bairwa, president of District Bairwa Mahasabha Yuva Morcha, told that on October 5, Rajendra and Ramhet Airwal, youths of the Dalit community, had organized the aarti of Maa Durga in Bhulon village . These youths were assaulted by Rahul Sharma and Lalchand Lodha.

These people allege that they appealed to the police administration, the Chief Minister, the Prime Minister and the President for justice, but when no action was taken from anywhere, the people of the society collectively decided to change their religion. On Friday, a protest rally was taken out in the village. After this the idols and pictures of the deities were immersed in the river.

Balmukand Bairwa warned
that if the main accused is not arrested soon, there will be a demonstration at Chhabra SDM office. He accused the law and order situation in the state of stalling and increasing cases of atrocities against Dalits. During this, Ramesh Maratha, Badrilal Bairwa (Chhipabarod), Chitarlal Bairwa, Pawan, Ramhet Bairwa, Mahendra Meena (Turkipada) etc. were present.
