Told the Dalit shopkeeper – what will we do if you set up shop here

this is the case
Ramprasad Meghwal has set up a temporary shop outside the Lankeshwar Hanuman temple located in Lasediya Kala village to sell worship material. The victim, Ramprasad Meghwal, told The Mooknayak that he sells puja items by setting up tables outside the temple. He is the only Meghwal caste person in the complex who sells puja material. Apart from that, half a dozen other people also have shops. On December 27, he had gone to Bapawar city to collect worship material. Radheshyam Suman and Shantilal Mehta, who set up a shop of worship material in the premises with the consent of temple committee president Nandkishore Mehta from behind, broke the shop of the applicant and threw it away.
The victim’s son Krishna Murari Meghwal told that since the time of Corona crisis, his father has been taking care of the family by selling worship materials outside the Lankeshwar temple and doing wages. He did B.Ed. Have kept the tax. Along with his father, he also cooperates for the family by doing wages. They do not have even a single bigha of land. Because of his caste, his shop has been removed from outside the temple. Now his family has become unemployed.
Meghwal caste cannot sell worship material
Tehsil convenor of Bhim Army Bharat Ekta Mission, Bunty Regar told The Mooknayak that he has also submitted a memorandum to the SDM in this regard demanding action against the accused. Bunty says that on the one hand Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is talking about wiping everyone’s tears without caste discrimination. On the other hand, employment is being snatched because of caste. Can’t Dalit class people sell worship material? If there is such a law in Rajasthan, then the government should clarify. Otherwise, arrest the person who threw the worship material shop of a person of Meghwal community in Lacediya art. Bunty Regar said that the police is pressurizing the victim’s family to resign at the behest of a local public representative.

Accused who had committed such incident in the past
Sub-Divisional Officer Sangod Rajesh Daga said that some people had come to me with a complaint in this regard. It is a matter of police investigation as to what was said to him. The rest of his one demand was that if the same is removed, it should be removed for everyone, otherwise it should not be removed for anyone. We have given instructions to the Gram Panchayat that if the encroachments are removed, then all will be removed. Same action will be taken on all.
When I spoke to Sangod’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwar in this matter, he told me to talk to the concerned SHO about his absence in connection with the investigation. Bapawar Police Officer Ranjit Singh told The Mooknayak that there are many shops outside the temple. There is a shop on Ramprasad Meghwal’s table. Many visitors come to the temple, so the people of the temple must have said something. In this regard, the victim has given a report on the allegation of throwing the shop and insulting it with casteist words. I went to the spot and also explained, but these people did not agree. Now filing suit. Will take action as per rules.
