Sivana (Barmer). When a brother took out his sister’s bindoli on a mare, the punches stopped the hookah-water and ostracized the family from the society. While taking this decision in the meeting organized at the Ramdev Temple, the abode of the Khalsa, on Tuesday, the Panch imposed a fine of Rs.50,000 on the family.
Shankararam’s son Thanaram Meghwal, a resident of Meli, submitted a report before the police station Sivana and Sivana subdivision officer that he had got his two sisters married on February 6, 2023. In that marriage, the bindoli of both the sisters was taken out while sitting on a mare.
According to the report, Sakaram s/o Ramaji Kuship, Mohanlal s/o Indaram Sivana, Bhajaram s/o Magaram Mavdi, Ruparam Gigaram Padardi, Votaram s/o Masaram Kuship and others called a meeting, in which his family was excommunicated from society and imposed a fine of fifty thousand rupees on him.
It has been said in the report that these Panchs have banned the whole society that if anyone has any kind of relationship or communication with his family, then he will also be punished.
Reports have been received against social punches from Melli under Siwana police station area. The Police is investigating. If there is truth then action will be taken against the culprits.
