Uttar Pradesh: Pradhan molests Dalit girl after entering her house
Parents were not at home, the girl alleges that when she entered the house to get the Aadhar card, Pradhan also entered the house from behind and started misbehaving.

In a village in Deoria , on the pretext of asking for an Aadhar card, the village head entered the house of a Dalit family of the same village. After finding the girl alone at home, he started molesting her. Sensing Pradhan’s evil intentions, when the girl raised an alarm, the accused ran away. In this case, the police have registered a case based on the complaint of the victim girl and are interrogating the accused Pradhan by taking him into custody.
The village head of a village in Khukhundu police station area of the district had gone to the house of a Dalit family of the village two days ago at night to ask for an Aadhar card in the name of providing accommodation. Standing at the door, he called out to bring the Aadhar card. Hearing the sound, the girl came out of the house and told that her parents were not at home. Then Pradhan said, no problem, you bring the Aadhaar and give it.
The girl alleges that when she entered the house to get the Aadhar card, Pradhan also entered the house from behind and started molesting her. When the girl tried to raise noise, the accused tried to suffocate her. However, the girl had understood his evil intentions. She somehow escaped from his clutches and informed the police about the incident.
Acting on the information, the police took the accused Pradhan into custody and are interrogating him regarding the incident. Police station head Khukhundu Inspector Santosh Kumar Singh said that the head was trying to reach a compromise in the matter. Based on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against the accused village head.
