UP: Dalit children were dragged out of the vehicle while going to school by miscreants who beat them up and left them in a bloody state before fleeing
In Agra, Dalit children were dragged out of a vehicle and beaten up while going to school. Casteist remarks were hurled at them. When the children were covered in blood, the accused fled. When the children reached the police station with their family, they had to face trouble there too. They were made to sit at the police station for hours. Under pressure from a public representative, even a medical check-up of their child was not done.

Uttar Pradesh: In Agra district, Dalit children going to school were pulled out of a vehicle and beaten brutally by miscreants. It is alleged that they also used casteist slurs against the children. After the thrashing, the accused fled. It is alleged that the victim’s family made calls to inform the police officials but the calls were not received. According to
media reports , the incident occurred in Undera village of Fatehpur Sikri police station area. Six children from the same family of the village were going to study in a school located in Fatehpur Sikri in a van. It is alleged that on the way, Raghuveer, Bhullu and Sindhi of the village together used casteist slurs against the children.
A child Akhilesh sitting in the car protested. After this the miscreants pulled Akhilesh and hit him hard on the head, leaving him bleeding. The miscreants also beat Toshi, Khushboo, Trisha, Anshul, Ashish, Vineet mercilessly. After this they ran away threatening them.
The children, injured and scared due to the beating, reached the police station with their family. It is alleged that they had to face trouble here as well. They were made to sit at the police station for hours. Due to the pressure of a public representative, even a medical check-up of their child was not done. They were pressurised to compromise. They were also threatened to be booked under breach of peace and sent to jail if they did not compromise.
The phone of ACP and police station in-charge was not received
According to Amar Ujala, despite repeated attempts to contact ACP Kiravali and Achhnera police station in-charge over phone, the phone of both the officers was not received.
