Dalit minor girl raped: Police arrest and jail the accused
Fatehpur, Barabanki. In Fatehpur, Barabanki, Lallan Singh, son of Rajkishore Singh, has been arrested and sent to jail by the police on charges of raping a Dalit minor girl, threatening to viral a video, and using abusive language.
A 16-year-old girl from a village in the Kotwali area had complained to the Superintendent of Police. The girl alleged that about a year ago, when she was returning home from her field, Lallan Singh and another unknown person from the village forcibly took her to the field after covering her mouth. There, Lallan Singh raped her and also made a video of the act.
The accused threatened the girl that if she complained to anyone, he would make the video go viral. For a year after this incident, the accused continued to rape her by threatening to viral the video and promising to marry her.
On December 23, Lallan Singh called the girl to his house late at night and raped her again. When the girl talked about marriage, the accused choked her and threatened to drive her out of the village.
Kotwal Sanjeet Sonkar said that a case has been registered in this matter and the accused has been arrested and sent to jail.
