Meerut: Dalit youth’s first beaten, abused then video made viral

a Dalit youth in Nasarpur Pur village of Meena Meerut’s Thana Mawana area, is alleged to have been beaten up by miscreants. Not only that, he also called him caste indicator and made a video viral. The victim smuggled into the police station but there was no concrete action from the police. Due to which the victim pleaded for justice at the Meerut SSP office on Tuesday.
Dalit youth Bittu works as dish cable in Nasarpur village of Mawana region of Meerut. The victim Bittu alleges that on 2 February, Joginder, a resident of the village, Mittu took him to get his dish antenna corrected. On this, he said that there is no drill machine connecting the dish antenna and asked to repair it the next day. At this, Joginder, Mittu and Anant Kumar abused Bittu, and used caste words.
These people started hitting him with an iron rod, causing a deep wound near Bittu’s eye. When the victim Bittu gave his report to the police station, but no help was received from the police.
On February 5, the accused made a video of Bittu viral and also posted it on Facebook. In this, the matter of shooting Bittu on the chest is being done dramatically. The victim and his family came to the SSP office on Tuesday and filed their complaint. Where the action was assured according to Bittu. In this case, SO Premchand Sharma of Mawana police station says that agreement was reached in this incident on the 2nd. At the same time, when NBT spoke to SP countryside Keshav Kumar, he told not to take cognizance of the episode.
