Dalit’s allegation- Upper caste people did not allow Bhimrao Ambedkar rally to take out, fight between both sides; police bus stationed
At the same time, in view of the dispute between the two parties during the rally, a police force has been deployed in the village. Complaints have been lodged from both the sides at Kumher police station. Further investigation is on in the matter.
According to the Dalits, a tent was set up for the program on Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti, but people from the other side set it on fire. We were pelted with stones and beaten up. Many people have been injured in stone pelting. We were not allowed to rally by the upper caste people of the village. Many of our injured people are hospitalised.

Rural CO Satish Verma told that during the rally, there was a fight between two sides of the village. Complaint has been registered. The police have registered a complaint against the stone pelters. Police force has been deployed to maintain peace and order in the village. Entire matter is being investigated and action will be taken. At present, the police is conducting medical examination of the injured at the Kumher Community Health Center. The injured are being treated in the hospital.
what the villagers say
According to the villagers, the rally was being taken through the entire village by the Dalit community. When they were passing through the house of Sarpanch Lakhan Gurjar while taking out the rally, the women of the house were sitting outside. Most of the people in the rally were under the influence of alcohol who abused the women and pelted stones. Cars kept outside the house were vandalized.
