Uttar Pradesh: Three including Nagar Panchayat councilor accused of gang rape of Dalit minor, arrested
The victim’s mother alleges that the accused were blackmailing her daughter every day and pressurizing her to have physical relations.

Uttar Pradesh. A case of gang rape of a 13 year old Dalit minor by three people including a Nagar Panchayat councilor has come to light in Sadabad area of Hathras district. The accused committed the incident by giving intoxicants to the minor when he was suffering from stomach ache. On the complaint of the victim’s mother, the police have arrested three accused and sent them to jail. The police is investigating the case.

An incident of gang rape of a 13 year old Dalit girl has come to light in Saadabad police station area of Hathras. The victim’s mother has filed a case against three youths including the Nagar Panchayat councilor. In the case filed by the victim’s mother, it is written that the incident took place on the evening of 23 November. According to the victim’s mother, her 13-year-old minor daughter was at home and was suffering from stomach pain. The girl asked the young man living in the neighborhood to bring medicine for stomach ache. After some time, a young man named Sahil gave medicine to his daughter to consume. After which his daughter became unconscious after consuming the medicine. After this the young man and his two associates gang-raped his minor daughter. Also made its video. Sent the video to his mobile. By creating a fake ID, his obscene video was also made viral on social media Instagram and Facebook. The victim’s mother alleges that the accused were blackmailing her daughter every day and pressurizing her to have physical relations. They are insulting by using caste based words and threatening to kill.
In this matter, when a complaint was made to the father of the accused, he too started abusing and resorting to caste related words. A Nagar Panchayat councilor is also included among the accused.
Sadabad Kotwali Inspector Mukesh Kumar said that a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint of the victim’s mother. Police arrested two accused on 29th November while another accused was arrested on 30th November. One of the arrested accused is a councilor of Sadabad Nagar Panchayat. Police have registered a case under Section 376D, POCSO, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Prevention of Atrocities Act and other sections.
