Some influential people of the village, including Kamlesh Singh, Jeetu Singh, Ramkumar Singh, Aman Singh, Pankaj Singh, Shahnawaz Singh, Kamal Singh, Mahendra Singh and Pradeep Singh, are constantly pressuring them to vacate their land. These influential people came to the door of Maya’s house and started abusing her. When Maya Kumari and her family protested against this, the influential people beat them up badly.

Attacks on children and families

According to Maya Kumari, when the family tried to stop them during the dispute, the attackers did not spare even their small children and beat everyone brutally. The attack was so severe that the fire engulfed the thatched roof, and the family had no choice but to flee from there. Maya Kumari and her family had to leave their house and take shelter in another place. This arson has created a sense of fear and insecurity in the mind of the family.

Threats and repeated attacks

After the incident, Maya Kumari moved to another house with her family. But the bullies reached there too and threatened and beat them up once again.
