The story is about Harikesh Gupta, son of Ram Ishwar, a resident of Mishrauli village, who runs a grocery store and accused the Dalit girl of stealing from the shop.
Then, on Sunday, after capturing the girl, the accused allegedly grabbed her hair and paraded her around the village. Unsatisfied, he tied her to a tree and began beating her. Bystanders filmed the entire incident, which is now rapidly going viral on social media. After the video surfaced, police arrived at the scene and rescued the girl. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police registered a case against the accused under relevant sections and arrested him.
