UP: Dalit woman molested after entering her house, stripped and attacked with sharp-edged weapon

A woman hailing from a village in the Kotwali area has an old dispute with a villager from the neighborhood. It is alleged that at 6 pm on Saturday evening, the Dalit woman entered the house of the accused with sticks, sticks and sharp weapons and started abusing them. On protesting, he stripped the woman naked and beat her up. He also beaten his daughter who came to rescue. The accused attacked the woman with a sharp weapon. This made her unconscious. After hearing the scream, after the neighbors arrived, the accused escaped, threatening to kill them on complaining. The woman was admitted to the CHC in an unconscious state.

Police have registered a case against eight of them including Chheda Lal, Parmai, Banwari, Anees, Pradeep on the woman’s tahrir in serious sections including murderous assault and Dalit oppression. Kotwal SK Singh said that in the case of beating of the woman and her family, nine have been booked under serious sections. The accused will be arrested soon.
