In Maholi, Sitapur, the battle for supremacy between the two sides turned into a gang war. On Tuesday night, there was a fierce fight between both the sides. The enmity grew so much that even the bullets went off. In which two people from one side were injured. He was referred to the district hospital.
The matter is of Kotwali area Chandpurwa. After getting information, the police reached the spot, while recovering a weapon, gun and cartridges, many people have been taken into custody. At present, police force is deployed in the village. The accused are being arrested.
On Tuesday evening, Chotkanne Pasi’s son-in-law Ankit was going from his in-laws’ house to his village Rewana (Sadikapur Saraiya) on his bike. It is alleged that on the way, Harinath Thakur slapped him several times citing the high speed of the bike.
Anger flared up after beating son-in-law of Pasi Paksha
In the village, an unknown war is going on in the village about the supremacy between the Thakurs and the Pasis. When Ankit went back and told this to his in-laws and home, the anger of the Pasi community flared up. There was a mood for a cross fight and guns started rising from everyone’s house.

Bullets fired after Pankaj’s firing
It is being told that at around 7 am on Wednesday, Pankaj Thakur was going to get milk at the dairy. When he came out of Pasi Tola, people told him to beat the son-in-law. Seeing the displeasure of the women, Pankaj took out the weapon and opened fire and ran away from the spot. After which guns started roaring on both sides. After the stone pelting, the Thakurs started dominating the Pasi fraternity.

Two were shot in the firing
During the gang war, Kamlesh (30) son Mangulal and Satyakumar (25) son Mevalal were shot by the Thakur side. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and sent both of them to the CHC in a hurry. Where after first aid he was referred to the district hospital. During the arrest, the police have arrested the main accused Pankaj and Harinath alias Kallu.
Police force deployed in the village
As a precautionary measure, a police force has been deployed in the village. CO Aman Singh and Inspector Anoop Kumar Shukla said that there is peace and order in the village. Two accused are arrested. Search is on for several other suspects. The complaint has not been received yet.
