Rajasthan: Office is not even safe, Dalit widow employee raped in government office building!

Case of Dholpur district of Rajasthan, case registered against the accused. The accused threatened to kill the woman and her son. The statement of the woman was recorded by the police for medical examination.

Jaipur. A case of rape of a Dalit widow woman working in a government institution in the district has come to light. Police have started investigation by registering a case against the accused. Police said that the woman works in a government institution. The woman has given a complaint that on Monday around 8 am, she was working in the institute, when a person named Vinod Thakur came and forcibly took her to another room. The accused raped the woman. The woman alleged that the accused threatened her that if she told anyone about the incident, she would kill her and her child.

Threatened to go home and kill me

In the report given by the woman to the police, it was told that, the accused also reached the woman’s house and threatened that he would kill her and her son if a report was lodged with the police. The woman has filed a case against the named accused in the police.

The police got the woman medical and registered a case of SC-ST Act and rape. After recording the statement of the woman, the police has started investigating the matter. Dholpur SP Dharmendra Singh told The Mooknayak that, “The accused was already familiar with the woman. A case has been registered on the complaint of the victim. Three teams have been formed to arrest the accused who are making efforts to arrest them by raiding the possible places.
