A 70-YEAR-OLD MAN WAS ARRESTED FOR RAPING A 6-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN BAJHANG

A 70-year-old man has been arrested for raping a 6-year-old girl in Bajhang. According to the police, 70-year-old Dhangiri Sarki of Chabispathivera rural municipality-2 of the district was arrested.
The victims said that on August 9, Saraki raped her 3 times in a row, saying that he would give her chocolates and biscuits. It is said that the girl told about the incident when she was asked why she was scared when she saw Sarki while going to the field.
The victim girl’s family said that Saraki took the girl’s mother home and brought her home. District Police Office Bajhang said that Saraki is being detained and necessary investigations are being conducted. According to the office, the health examination of the girl has been done and it has been found that there is an injury to the vagina.
