Two people died in the beating, the people involved in the incident are under police custody

Kathmandu: According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, Kumal Sunar Paksha, 61, a resident of Bhaktapur, Changunarayan Municipality-8 Kalamsi, and his neighbor Raju Sunar Paksha, 42, died on Saturday night. He was seriously injured in the fight and died during treatment at Madhyapur Hospital Thimi. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police deployed from Jagagi Police Circle arrested 10 people, including 41-year-old Rajan Sunar, resident of Changunarayan Municipality-8 Kalamsi, who was involved in the fight.
65-year-old Ram Ekbal Rai, a resident of Sarlahi, Godaita Municipality-6 Bagdah, died on Saturday night after a fight broke out between two parties over the issue of elections. On receiving the news that 6 people were injured due to a fight between two parties at that place, the police stationed from Godaita police station sent the injured to Krishna Medical and Research Center Janakpur for treatment, but Rai died during the treatment. The condition of the other injured is normal. 19-year-old Bikram Rai, who lives in the same place, involved in the beating, has been detained by the police.
The police are investigating further in this regard.
