Principal arrested on charges of student kidnapping and murder

Parsa. Parsa police have arrested two persons including the headmaster of Gurukul Panna Memorial English Boarding School in Birganj on the charge of kidnapping and murdering a student studying in class 8.
Police have arrested 30-year-old Dilip Kumar Patel, a resident of Dhovani Rural Municipality-1 Ghodaur Pipra, Parsa, and his associate Shyam Prasad Patel alias Krishna Bharen, 24, a resident of Birgunj-17 Alau, on the charge of abducting and murdering 14-year-old Neeraj Kumar Dusad, who was studying in a school run by Birgunj Metropolitan City-25 Khalwatola Sirsia. yes
Superintendent Shah informed that Patel admitted in his statement that he had planned to kidnap Neeraj because he knew Neeraj from the past and he would easily come to the place when he called him. When he called Neeraj on the day of the school holiday on November 4th, he did not come that day and when he came the next day at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, when he tried to hold him hostage, Neeraj started screaming but he strangled him to calm him down. After informing Patel that the body was dumped in the toilet tank in front of the house where he lived, the police managed to recover the child’s body on the night of January 10.
Superintendent Shah informed that the dead child’s body has been handed over to the parents after the post-mortem, while the search for one more accused involved in the incident is underway. He said that they are preparing to prosecute both the arrested accused for body hostage and duty killing.
