In such a situation, the son of our family was killed. We demand that the accused be hanged.” On asking the family what action was taken by the police administration regarding the incident? The family members said, “The police administration, while taking legal action, has registered a case under the ACT/SC Act and Section 307, among other sections.”
Prem Suryavanshi, the district president of the Azad Samaj Party, who was involved in the protest against the incident, tells The Mooknayak that, “Dashrath Singh Rajput is such a person. The whole village is upset because of him.”
He further adds, “After the death of Sumanbhil, both the District Collector and the SP came in the protest we gathered together. We have seen how the house of a Muslim accused of an incident was demolished. If the accused in this incident was a Muslim, then his house would have been demolished by now. On this basis, we (Bhim Army and Azad Samaj Party) approached the Collector demanded that the house of the accused be demolished.”
On the question of The Mooknayak whether it is justified to break the house of any community? Prem says, “There is no provision in the constitution to demolish houses.
