Burnt body found in Pashupati forest

Kathmandu – A burnt body of a person was found in the forest near Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu. Krishna Koirala, SP of the Valley Crime Investigation Office, said that a body of a man was found completely burnt below the Kirateswara temple in the Pashupati temple complex.
According to him, the body could not be identified due to burns. But due to the fact that his wallet and other materials were found near the body, inquiries are being made about it.
SP Koirala said that after the news that the body was found on Saturday morning, the team of Crime Investigation Office and Police Circle Gaushala reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
As petrol was also found in a bottle near the dead body, it is believed that the fire may have been started by sprinkling petrol. The police said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
