Former Pradhan’s son gang-raped a Dalit woman along with his friends, forced her to convert to Islam

Greater Noida : A Dalit woman of Greater Noida’s Jarcha police station area has been accused of allegedly gang-raping 3 people, including the son of the former village head. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case. Police is raiding in search of the accused. This gang rape incident took place in October 2022.
Sexually assaulted a woman
According to the information received from the police, the son of the former head of the village used to sexually exploit a Dalit woman on the pretext of marriage, but when the victim pressurized her for marriage, he gang-raped her along with three other accomplices. Threatened to kill the girl for protesting. Based on the complaint of the victim, Jarcha police is claiming to arrest the accused soon.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
According to the locals, the victim had lodged a rape case against her husband in 2022 as well. The police suspect that the victim has been used due to a personal enmity between the present village head and the former village head and she has registered a case against the son of the former head only at the behest of the present head. At present the police is investigating the matter.
