Dalit Girl Raped: According to the victim’s father, after trapping her in a love trap, the young man took her daughter to his sister’s house in Diulia and raped her. While he was raping, the son of the sister of the accused youth made a video of him, after which the accused started pressuring him for marriage by showing the video.

West Champaran. A young man from Raxaul first raped a Dalit girl from Narkatiaganj in Bettiah by trapping her in a love trap and abandoned her when she became pregnant. The girl’s father has lodged an FIR in Shikarpur police station, in which 10 people including the accused youth, his brother and his brother-in-law have been accused. However, acting immediately after the FIR, the police have arrested the accused youth Sonu Ali, a resident of Laxmipur locality of Raxaul police station area, his elder brother Israfil Ali and his brother-in-law, Saip Mian, a resident of Diulia of Shikarpur police station area.

In the FIR, the father of the victim girl has told that Sonu Ali used to live in Diulia at his sister’s house. While studying in 2021, the accused young man seduced his daughter and trapped her in his love trap. After trapping her in the love trap, he took her daughter to his sister’s house in Diulia and raped her. While he was raping, the son of the sister of the accused youth made a video of him, after which the accused started pressuring him for marriage by showing the video.

Victim and father were beaten up and driven away

The father told that after this the young man kept sexually abusing the daughter by keeping her in a rented house in Raxaul and Diulia itself, when she became pregnant, he left her and ran away. The victim’s father has told in the FIR that on February 2, when he took his daughter to the house of the accused in Raxaul, both of them were beaten up and chased away and the sister-in-law of the accused in Diulia humiliated her and made her run away. After this both of them reached the police station and filed a complaint.

Even the people of our community are not accepting the victim.

The victim girl’s father told that when his daughter told that she was raped and sexually assaulted, he was going to Shikarpur police station to file a complaint. But some people of the village put pressure on him by asking the Panchayati to solve the matter and he agreed. In the Panchayati, the young man agreed to marry and take her with him somewhere else. But, the boy belonged to another religion, due to which the people of his society did not agree, as a result of which he did not keep his daughter in his house, which the accused youth took advantage of and started living in a rented house with the victim girl. Meanwhile, he had also taken Raxaul to his house several times, when she became pregnant, he fled leaving her in a rented house.

In 2021, the victim’s father had complained to the police station

In 2021, the father of the victim girl had complained about the kidnapping of his daughter in Shikarpur police station. At that time he had told the police that his daughter was going to appear for the board exams and had gone missing. While taking action, the police recovered the girl and handed her over to her family members. But the accused youth was saved through Panchayati at that time and he also kept silence out of public shame. But in the meantime, by showing the video, the accused started having a relationship with the girl. At the same time, the people of the locality also told that he had taken the girl with him in the name of getting married and possibly got married too.

In this regard, Shikarpur Police Station President Ramashray Yadav told that an FIR has been registered. Accused youth Sonu Ali, his brother Israfil Ali and his brother-in-law Saip Miyan have been arrested and sent to jail. Raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused.
