A gruesome incident has come to light in Haryana’s Yamuna Nagar district where a 19-year-old schoolgirl was killed by a ruffian in Hooda area of the district for refusing to marry her. The matter came to notice when a decomposed body was found in Hooda on April 23, a purse was recovered from the body which identified her as Komal.
Komal was missing since last April 17, whose complaint was made by her relatives in the local police station, Komal used to go to a beauty parlor near her house to learn the work of a beautician, but on April 17, Komal left her home to go to the beauty parlor. Did not return After the family’s complaint, the police, who went out to investigate, recovered Komal’s body.
Taking prompt action within 36 hours of the recovery of the body, the police have arrested Komal’s killer. The name of the arrested accused is Gaurav, he works in a restaurant.
Yamunanagar DSP Kanwal Jeet Singh told that, on the information of the local people, the police recovered the dead body, soon after the dead body was identified, the police formed a special team and arrested the killer.
In the interrogation done by the police, Gaurav has confessed to the murder, he told that he wanted to marry Komal, so on April 17, at a deserted place, he stopped Komal and wanted to forcefully persuade her to marry him, but Komal When, instead of agreeing to this, she started protesting against him, he picked up a brick and hit Komal on her head in a fit of rage, due to which she fell on the spot. He later strangulated her to death and hid her body in nearby bushes.
According to the news published in local media channels, Gaurav was following Komal for the last few years, whose complaint was already lodged by Komal’s family. The local police had earlier also arrested the accused on molestation charges.
