A friend was killed by a sharp weapon in Lamjung

A laborer working on the dam side of Midim Khola hydropower project in Lamjung Madhya Nepal Municipality-8 Langdipari has been killed.
According to the police, 29-year-old Arjun Ramtel, a resident of 15 houses in Diktel-Rupakot-Mazuwagadhi Municipality of Khotang, killed his neighbor Sunil Shrestha, 25, by hitting him with a sharp weapon.
According to the police, Shrestha was seriously injured when Ramtel threw a knife around 10 pm on Friday. The police said that he died at 1 am on Saturday night while being brought to Pokhara for further treatment.
Both of them were staying in a camp on the dam side and Arjun injured his friend Sunil with a sharp weapon during a domestic dispute on Friday night. Inspector Jagdish Regmi, Information Officer of the District Police Office, said that Shrestha, who was injured, died after some time.
Arjun, who went to Pokhara after the incident, was arrested on Saturday morning from Pokhara by a joint team of District Police Office Kaski, District Police Office Lamjung and Area Police Office Bhorletar, said Lamjung Chief Police DSP Prakash Shrimal.
Preparations are being made to present the arrested Arjun in court on Sunday for an extension. Arjun involved in the incident and the deceased Sunil Shrestha were neighbors and both of them were working as laborers on the dam side of the Midim Khola hydroelectric project.
