Shajapur: In Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh, a case of stone pelting at a Dalit’s wedding procession has come to light. It is alleged that the bullies of the village objected to the song of Jai Bhim being played on the DJ in the procession. Even after this, the baraatis did not stop singing, then the goons first abused them and then stopped the procession and started pelting stones. One person from the groom’s side has been injured in this incident. In this regard, both the parties have filed complaints against each other in the police.
Police has registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation. This incident is of Bhanderi village under Mohan Barodia police station area of Shajapur district . According to the police, the procession of a Dalit groom Anil was going out. During this, the song of Jai Bhim was playing on the DJ. It is being told that there was a dispute between the two sides regarding this song. After this, both the sides pelted stones at each other.
Dharmendra, a relative of the groom injured in this incident, told that the procession of his aunt’s son was going out. During this, the bullies of the village deliberately tried to stop the procession and quarreled on the pretext of singing. On the other hand, Mohan Barodia police station in-charge Bharat Singh Kirar told that both the parties have given complaints against each other. In such a situation, investigation has been started by registering a case against both the parties under various sections.
He told that a procession of Dalit society was taking place in the village circle, in the meanwhile there was a dispute over the DJ playing. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, pacified both the parties and after taking complaints from both the sides, the police started investigating the matter.
