Rajasthan: Dalit badly beaten for refusing to make puncture in Bhilwara, broke hands and legs, case registered

A case of assault with a Dalit youth has come to light in Patan village under Badnore police station area of Bhilwara district. The youths in the car thrashed the Dalit youth badly for not making a puncture and ran away after abusing them on caste lines.

After the incident, the injured youth reached Badnaur police station along with his family members and got a case registered against the accused in Badnaur police station. The injured youth has been referred to Bhilwara District Hospital for treatment. On the other hand, the Badnore police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
Badnore police station in-charge Ramkishan told that Patan resident Shila Balai’s wife Arjun Lal Balai has lodged a report in the police station. In which she told that her husband Arjun has a puncture removal shop at Patan bus stand.
Sanwar Lal Gurjar’s son Haluram, resident of Patan village, Prakash’s son Champalal Gurjar resident of Patan and his companions came to the shop to make a puncture in a Bolero car at around 5 pm on Tuesday evening. Arjunlal refused to make him a puncture. On which everyone first abused Arjun and then attacked him with sticks.
Arjun entered Gadolia Lohar’s house near the shop to save himself. But, even then the accused did not agree, they entered the house and assaulted him. Arjun’s hands and legs were fractured in this attack and he was seriously injured.
When the accused were running back after the assault, the villagers made a video of them. Arjun was first brought to Badnore Hospital, from where he was referred to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. Police say that on the basis of the video, the search for the accused is being started. Soon all the accused will be arrested.
