In Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh, a Dalit girl was insulted with caste-related words and kicked by a female police station officer when she sat on a chair in the police station. Former BJP leader accused of murdering his father after raping a Dalit girl in Maharajganj district has been arrested by the police from Nepal border. The court has sentenced a father to life imprisonment for raping a minor daughter in Etah, Uttar Pradesh.
A case of brutality against a Dalit girl has come to light in the police station from Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh. After a fight among neighbors in the village, a Dalit girl reached Inhauna police station and sat on a chair. When police station incharge Kanchan Singh insulted her with caste-related words, she kicked her and made her fall from the chair. The Dalit girl’s health deteriorated after the police station chief kicked her in the stomach. The video of the incident with the girl is going viral on social media. In the viral video, the victim herself is narrating the incident that happened to her in the police station. The girl who was injured by the kick of the police station officer is undergoing treatment at Singhpur CHC. The girl is having trouble even walking.
According to the information, there was a fight between neighbors in Ashrafpur village of Gram Panchayat Angoori under Inhauna police station of Amethi district. After the fight, the police called both the parties to the police station. In the viral video, Dalit girl Vineeta is telling that “There was a fight between us and the neighbors over some issue. That is why we called the police station. When we reached the police station, the police station officer Kanchan Singh asked us what happened. When we tried to tell our story, When it started, she said that you will not improve. Go, you want to go to jail. Saying this, she sent me to a room. There were many chairs kept in the room. Where one sir told us, son, sit on the chair. Vineeta says that – we were sitting on the chair when Kanchan Singh Madam came and kicked us in the stomach. She was also wearing shoes. Insulting her with caste based words, she said, “Is this your father’s chair?” Will you sit on this? We fell down from the chair due to the kick. Was having stomach ache.
BJP leader accused of raping Dalit girl arrested from Nepal border
Former BJP leader Rahi Masoom Raza, accused of murder of a Dalit selling water and rape in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh and accused of rape of his daughter, was arrested by the police from Nepal border late on Saturday evening. The accused was returning to India from Nepal. During this, the police caught him as soon as he entered the Indian border. Additional Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Singh has confirmed the arrest. Singh said that the accused Rahi Masoom Raza is the former district president of BJP’s Minority Welfare Morcha. Recently, on September 5, a Dalit girl, who lived with her family on rent in her own house, had filed a case in the police station for murder, rape, molestation, assault, intimidation, besides POCSO and SC ST Act.
According to the police, the victim had told that she was a resident of Mehndawal area of Sant Kabirnagar district. Whose father had come to Maharajganj with his family for livelihood. The entire family lived on rent in the house of Rahi Masoom Raza, a resident of Veer Bahadur ward of the city. His father was selling pani-puri on the footpath in Maharajganj for the last six years. There are four sisters and one brother in the family. Brother is the youngest. He is eight years old. On August 28, his father had gone to the shop. Meanwhile, landlord Rahi Masoom Raza entered the victim’s room and started raping her forcefully. At the same time the victim’s father arrived. They protested after seeing the landlord raping their daughter. On which the accused BJP leader dragged the father and took him somewhere. And murdered him.
According to the victim, earlier the accused former BJP leader was molesting her younger sister. Which he had seen. The accused had threatened him. Had said that if I told anyone about the molestation, I would kill him. According to Additional Superintendent of Police Amit Singh, after the case was registered, the victim had initially retracted her statements. Later the police recovered nine lakh rupees from him. When the police interrogated the girl, she told that the accused former BJP leader had given her money to change her statement. He also threatened to kill his younger brother if he did not change his statement. Due to this fear he changed his statement.
The police made the victim give her statement under section 164 before the magistrate for the second time. After the victim’s statement again, the court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Rahi Masoom Raza on Friday. Even before this, accused former BJP leader Rahi Masoom Raza had fled to Nepal. On returning from there late Saturday evening, he was arrested on the Indian border.
Life imprisonment to father who raped minor daughter
There is big news from Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. Here the court has found a father guilty of raping his minor daughter. The court has sentenced the accused to life imprisonment. According to the information, a woman had lodged a police report three months ago. She had told the police that her husband rapes her minor daughter. On the complaint of the woman, the police immediately started investigation. The special thing is that after conducting a complete investigation, the police had filed a charge sheet against the accused in just three days.

The court found the father guilty of raping the minor daughter. After that the court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment. Along with this, a fine of Rs 95 thousand was also imposed on the accused.
