Uttar Pradesh. A Dalit family living in Madavara police station area of Lalitpur district wrote a letter to the district administration and police seeking help in providing security to remove Bindauri during the wedding. It is alleged that the administration did not help them. The victim wrote a letter to Azad Samaj Party and Bhim Army and informed them about the matter. This complaint letter went viral on social media. After which there was panic in the police administration. Now the police is talking about providing security on the spot.
The entire matter is of village Dongra Khurd under Madavara police station area of Lalitpur district. Village resident Anant Ram tells The Mooknayak, “My marriage has been fixed with Raju Devi, daughter of Bhagwati Ahirwar, resident of Mirchwara village. My wedding procession will take place on March 12. I want to do this marriage with full pomp. But the village In India, any Scheduled Caste family is afraid of doing this due to the fear of feudalists. I am also afraid of this. In many places in India, feudalists have attacked the wedding processions of Dalits in villages. During the Bindauri or Ghudchadhi ritual, Dalits have been attacked. Murder has also been done. That’s why I also felt scared. What I am going to do has never happened in my village.”
Anantram further explains, “I want to take out Bindauri in my marriage procession. For this, I had written a letter to the regional police and the district administration asking for help. But the district administration did not show any interest in this matter. I was tired of making rounds of the officials’ offices. I had gone there. The officials were not taking any interest in this matter. I am married, I have to do all the work. In such a situation, I had written a letter to Azad Samaj Party and Bhim Army seeking cooperation.”
According to the information, this letter is now viral on social media. After this letter went viral on social media, there was panic among the district administration and police. After which the police has said to provide security during Bindauri.

In this matter, The Mooknayak talked to the officer in-charge of Madwara police station. Police station in-charge Swastik Dixit told The Mooknayak, “This has never happened in the village. The complainant only has doubts. However, by taking action on his application, the problem will be resolved by ensuring security arrangements on the day of the event.”
