UTTARPRADESH NEWS: News of Dalit atrocities come to light every day from Uttar Pradesh. But this incident has once again raised questions on women’s safety. In fact, the headmaster in-charge of the school has been arrested for committing obscene acts with a Dalit student in a government school in Uttar Pradesh. This incident once again proved that even today women’s safety is a big issue in UP.
What is the whole matter?
Actually, this whole matter is of government school in Suryawa police station area of Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. In this incident, the headmaster of the school has been accused of doing obscene acts with a Dalit student in the school. In this case, the police arrested the headmaster on the evening of Sunday, April 14. According to the information, this incident happened on Friday, April 12 in a primary school of Suryawa police station. In connection with this incident, the victim’s mother lodged an FIR against the school in-charge headmaster Sandeep Gupta the next day i.e. on Saturday.
The victim’s mother complained against the accused:
Area Police Officer (CO) Ajay Kumar Chauhan said in his statement that on Friday, April 12, the school’s in-charge headmaster Sandeep Gupta stopped the Dalit student (12) in the class and did obscene acts with the student. In this case, the headmaster also threatened the student not to tell anyone about this. But the student went home and told her mother about the entire incident. The next day i.e. on Saturday, April 13, the victim’s mother lodged a complaint against the accused headmaster in the police station.
What did police officer Ajay Kumar Chauhan say?
Police officer Ajay Kumar Chauhan further said that a case has been registered against Principal Sandeep Gupta under sections 354 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, besides the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) Act and the Scheduled Caste and Tribe Prevention of Atrocities Act. Is. Regarding this incident, police officer Chauhan said that the accused teacher was arrested late evening on Sunday, April 14. Regarding this incident, Basic Education Officer of the district, Bhupendra Narayan Singh said that Sandeep Gupta has been suspended and the order for a departmental inquiry against him has been given to the Block Education Officer.

Let us tell you that this is not the first incident in Uttar Pradesh where a teacher has committed obscene acts with a student. Even before this, UP has been embarrassed by such incidents. Recently, on 13 April 2024, a teacher did obscene acts with a UKG student in Meerut. Angered by this incident, the villagers beat up the teacher and handed him over to the police. Once in the year 2023, a shameful incident came to light in the temple of education in Amethi also. Where a teacher had committed obscene acts with a schoolgirl. How long will UP continue to be embarrassed by such incidents? The administration needs to take the strictest action against such incidents.
