UP News: Body of Dalit laborer found in bushes on the roadside, with scratches and injury marks

Posted on October 15, 2024 by Dalit Times

The body of a Dalit labourer who was missing for 24 hours was found in the bushes on the roadside on Monday morning. There were scratches and injury marks on the body of the deceased, which suggests that he died under suspicious circumstances. Police and forensic team reached the spot and investigated, and the body was sent for post-mortem.

UP News: The mysterious death of a Dalit laborer Dharmendra in Balrampur has created a stir in the entire area. Dharmendra, who was 35 years old, was the sole breadwinner of his family and used to run his household expenses by working as a laborer. On Sunday morning, he decided to leave the house after having breakfast, but he did not tell anyone where he was going. Due to his absence, the family members started looking for him.

Dead body found lying in bushes near petrol pump

When Dharmendra did not return home by evening, his relatives were questioned, but no one could find any trace of him. The next day, on Monday morning, the body of an unknown youth was found lying in the bushes near a petrol pump on Tulsipur Bijlipur Road. When the locals identified the body, it turned out to be Dharmendra’s. There were clear marks of scratches and injuries on the body, which indicated that he had not died of any normal cause.

Arrived at the scene with forensic team

As soon as the incident was reported, Nagar Kotwal Shailesh Kumar Singh reached the spot with his forensic team. He thoroughly investigated the incident and collected evidence. Meanwhile, Dharmendra’s father Rajle while talking to the media said that his family has no enmity with anyone and he demanded that an impartial investigation be conducted into his son’s death so that the truth can come out. He also said that Dharmendra worked very hard for his family and his sudden death has shaken their lives.

Will the family get true and fair justice?

The police said that action will be taken based on the post-mortem report, but the incident has left everyone wondering if it was just a simple accident or there was a deep conspiracy behind it. Dharmendra’s death has brought a wave of sentiments in the area, and now people are waiting for justice so that his family can get true and fair justice. The whole case has also attracted the attention of community organizations and local leaders, who are now trying to spread more awareness about the incident.
