UP: Dalit family attacked in Hardoi, case filed against 15 people, 4 main accused arrested

The police took immediate action and arrested the four main accused – Munna, Rajiv Kumar, Atul Singh and Ghanshyam. All the accused are residents of village Daba.

Uttar Pradesh: A case of attack on a Dalit family has come to light in the Bilgram police station area of Hardoi. The victim Dataram lodged a complaint with the police on 15-16 April. He said that 11 named and 4 unidentified people, including Munna, Rajiv Kumar, Atul Singh (all three sons of Raghuram) and Ghanshyam (son of Shri Krishna), living in village Dabha, abused and assaulted his family.
On the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case under various sections including SC/ST Act. The police engaged in investigation took immediate action and arrested four main accused – Munna, Rajiv Kumar, Atul Singh and Ghanshyam. All the accused are residents of village Dabha.
This action was taken by a team of sub-inspector Pradeep Kumar Singh, Ajay Tomar and constables Rizwan and Anshuman Saini under the leadership of police station in-charge Rakesh Kumar Yadav. Police is continuously conducting raids to arrest other accused. Further legal action is underway in the case.
