In the memorandum given to the municipal CMO, it has been said that the cleaning worker Nitesh’s father Kishan Lal was cleaning near the Maruti temple. When the employee opposed this, he humiliated him by abusing casteist. The employee, who was hurt by the abuses, informed the Ward Muqaddam about the whole matter. When the case reached the spot, the youth also spoke to him in abusive language. Due to this, all the cleaning workers of NAPA had fun outside the municipality. The employees, while giving a memorandum to the CMO at around 11 am, said that a letter should be issued to register an FIR against the youth in the police station for abusing the sanitation worker, but the CMO gave verbal assurance to the employees that she would talk to TI, You guys go and apply to the police station. On this, the employees have given a memorandum to the TI demanding action against the youth in the police station. The police has assured the employees of investigation and action.
Will strike if action is not taken
Jeevan Lal, the city president of the All India Safai Mazdoor Sangh trade union, who came to give a memorandum with the sanitation workers, said that such behavior lowers the morale of the employees. If this does not get the cooperation of the authorities, then it feels even worse. He said that we kept waiting for the NAPA CMO to complain, but he did not come out of the car and talk to the employees. On the contrary, she started saying that what was the need of so many people to talk. One or two people should have come. He said that if action is not taken, the sanitation workers will go on strike.
