The occupants of the toilet made for the Mahadalits

Bettiah. In the Dalit basti of Purania Harsari Panchayat of the local block, cattle are being tied there by encroaching upon the community toilet built under the Lohia cleanliness campaign. Let us tell you that the scheme of lakhs made by the government in the panchayat has become a fodder house for cattle today.
Despite this, the administration is silent. In the past also, people of dalit settlements of Ward No. 8 of Purania Harsari Panchayat had requested to get the encroachment free, but till date the encroachment of community toilet has not been removed. Villagers told that with the connivance of the administration and panchayat representatives, one community toilet was built far away from the Dalit settlement and now the encroachers are tying cattle in it. Due to which the people of the settlement are deprived of the use of toilets. The issue of encroachment of toilets also raised in the general meeting
A general meeting was organized on Tuesday under the leadership of newly elected chief Ajit Kumar Dubey alias Bala Dubey. Along with the selection of development plans in the general meeting, the villagers also raised the issue of encroachment of community toilets. However, the newly elected chief assured that he would take the initiative to remove the encroachment of the community toilet.
Villagers wrote letters to DM and PM in the past
The villagers have also written an application to the DM and CM regarding the construction of a collective toilet away from the Dalit settlement. In which it was told that instead of ward number 8 Dalit Basti, with the connivance of the administration and Panchayat representatives, toilets have been constructed far away from the settlement. Due to which women and children are facing difficulties in commuting.

The issue of encroachment of community toilet is not in my notice. Well, it will be investigated. The toilet is for the use of the people. In any case, it will be freed from encroachment.
