The women, who came to narrate their grief to the police captain, told that there was a dispute with some people of the village itself. After the controversy, the people of the opposition party informed the police. The women allege that the police, who reached the spot, taking unilateral action, beat up the minor children along with the women by stripping them so badly that their skin turned black.
The women allege that the police entered the house and beat them badly using caste words and even threatened to kill them if they opened their mouths.
On the other hand, Jaunpur police say that the police had gone to resolve the dispute in the village. During this, the police personnel got hurt. However, no clear answer has come yet on the allegations of women.
