JDU leader shot dead in front of house in Bihar’s Danapur
In Bihar, criminals shot dead Deepak Mehta, leader of the ruling Janata Dal United (JDU) and vice-president of Danapur Municipal Council.

In Bihar’s Danapur, criminals shot dead the leader of the ruling Janata Dal United (JDU) and the Vice President of Danapur Municipal Council. The miscreants shot Deepak Mehta, vice-president of Danapur Municipal Council, outside his house in Nasriganj. Deepak Mehta was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment where he died during treatment.
According to the information, JDU leader Deepak Mehta lived in Nasriganj of Danapur. He was in front of his house when some miscreants who came suddenly started firing on him. Deepak Mehta collapsed after being shot. Hearing the flurry of bullets, the people of the house also came out and the people around also ran towards the spot.
The miscreants fled from the spot after shooting Deepak Mehta. The injured Deepak was immediately taken to the nearest private hospital for treatment by the relatives and the people around where Deepak Mehta died during treatment. After getting
information about the incident, the police has also come into active mode.
Due to the matter being related to the leader of the ruling party, there has been a stir about the incident. Significantly, the
increasing incidents of crime in Bihar are becoming a problem for Nitish Kumar’s government. While the opposition is besieging the government regarding the increasing crime, the leaders of the ally BJP have also been raising questions about it.
